19th Amendment: Women Can Too!

What They Say: The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

What We Say: Men and women can vote in the U.S.

This amendment focused heavily on women gaining rights to vote

When making the 15th amendment that allowed everyone to vote, it left out the women. The 19th amendment clarifies that women are included.
