6th Amendment: Jury of Peers

What They Say: In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

What We Say: You have can have a speedy trial, a fair jury, an attorney, and you can confront the witnesses.
Having a jury of your peers may help you win a case in court. Imagine having a group of people that don't like you very much, determine if you committed a crime. It's probably a good thing that you have people on your side who are not biased in court to make sure it's fair.
